Leftovers From November

I realize I never put up the photos from our last few days returning home in November. We stayed several days at Caddo Lake State Park and then overnighted at Lake Livingston State Park and Camp Tonkawa or something like that. Here are a few photos from that portion, if you're still interested.

Cypress trees in the Fall with Spanish Moss wafting from the branches

Taking a boat tour of the waterway.

This is the canoe livery in the state park. Canoes are available for rental and easy to access.

Enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery.

Wade had a couple of days free so he drove over and spent the night and next day with us. We managed to hike some trails and take the boat tour. We grilled some steaks which were slightly crunchy but very delicious.

This is NOT at Caddo Lake. We spent a night in Tonkawa Park (or some such) where they had some free ranging very friendly deer. Bonnie isn't quite sure how she feels about that.

We made it home in time for Thanksgiving and lots of family and food.
